Three is Perfect for Group Training

There is a very good reason why we designed the HOTWORX infrared sauna with the precise interior dimensions that it has.  We wanted to create the perfect workout environment for three people to train together as a group.

Why three?

To understand this, let me explain a little about my background.  I owned and operated a small gym in New Orleans for almost six years and during that entire time, I maintained a practice as a fitness and athletic trainer.  I trained small groups each week.  I found that the ideal group size was three.  It was just more enjoyable as a trainer and it was more motivating and effective for my clients when there was three of them.  Four was too many and two was not enough.

Three was perfect, so why not create a perfect workout environment for three!

As a result of my experience as a trainer, when I designed the HOTWORX sauna I determined that a 7’ x 9’ space with people facing one of the 9’ walls was perfect for a group of three.  I can remember placing different yoga mats in one of our offices that we call the “War Room”, and stepping off what I thought would be the best dimensions as it soon became clear to me what the measurements should be.  I then began working with engineers to draw the schematics for a new kind of infrared sauna.  We then worked to properly place the video monitor and the infrared heaters, purposely leaving the back 9’ wall free of heaters to accommodate multiple workout postures.

Know that HOTWORX was created to deliver the perfect environment for a small group of three clients to achieve the workouts of their lives!
