What motivated you to become a HOTWORX Virtual Instructor?
Fitness has changed how I view and accept my body. Rather than hate the things I couldn’t change overnight, I began to love the amazing things my body could do for me. This was life changing for me. I want other women to fall in love with the incredible things their body is capable of through HOTWORX.
How was your very first HOTWORX session? Describe the experience.
My first first HOTWORX session was so relaxing and energizing at the same time. I loved how the heat soaked into my muscles during my Hot Yoga session. While it was challenging, I didn’t leave feeling exhausted and drained. I felt ready to take on the rest of my day and proud of the hard work I had accomplished!
What’s your favorite Isometric posture? Why?
My favorite isometric posture is Eagle! I’ve always loved the opposition in this pose and the challenge of balancing in it.
Which Isometric posture is the most difficult for you? Why?
I find the V Sit to be very challenging to me! It kills my hip flexors!
What has been the most rewarding part of being a HOTWORX Virtual Instructor?
When I was in college I had an eating disorder. As a professional dancer, I always had this idea that my body had to be perfect. Something I now realize, is a lie. The most rewarding part of being a Virtual Instructor is that chance I have now to inspire women to love their body where they’re at, while they’re working towards their goals in a healthy way. Hearing the confidence our clients have gained is so incredibly rewarding to me.
