HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Kristin and Taylor Kornieck, who were awarded 3 franchise licenses - 1 in the Las Vegas market and 2 in the Detroit market - and are currently in Presale at their Las Vegas, NV (Boca Park) studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I wanted to help my daughter Taylor begin another exciting opportunity after finishing college. This type of business would really accelerate her into the professional workforce by helping her to continue learning and becoming a more well-rounded person. Once I realized how amazing this concept is and what it’s done for me personally in such a short time, I had to go in big and think about expansion from the start. There are great challenges to come, but this is an exciting opportunity with a business that can really help people to stay healthy and hopefully bring some happiness to the communities in this somewhat tough social climate.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Taylor is a professional athlete playing soccer all over the world and she will be able to continue doing that alongside being a franchisee, as there is already a plan in place to follow and great structure with incredible leadership and support. I will continue being a real estate professional and this type of business will allow us to do both.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
My daughter and her best friend went to a session and after she came home I could see in her eyes that she found something great. She’s been an athlete all her life and has done many things, so I knew this was special. We actually went back that evening for my free trial and I joined on the spot. I felt incredible just after one session and immediately came home and looked up franchising opportunities. Since that day, it’s been about 2 months and my health has taken a 180 turn and I feel incredible.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Cynthia reached out to Taylor and I immediately following our inquiry on the website. The whole process was efficient, informative, easy and so welcoming. She kept us engaged the entire time and excited for the final phases. She is a wonderful person and a great ambassador for HOTWORX.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
The HOTWORX team is a group of very dynamic and down to earth people. You can really tell they enjoy what they do and have a lot of fun with each other. We felt so comfortable and engaged the entire time. They all seem to recruit people that you would also enjoy working with or meeting at a national convention some day. The whole orientation is so informative and made us feel very comfortable to embark on this great adventure.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Take each step one at a time and take it all in. Don’t worry about not understanding something up front because you get the same information throughout the process. If you got that same feeling after experiencing this as we did, then just go for it!!! This is a winner with longevity and the way of the future.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
To see people of all shapes and sizes feel comfortable to come to a place where they can privately exercise and leave feeling so great. A place where everyone can come to give themselves their “me time” whether it be to exercise, to clear the mind and get in a good sweat to release those toxins or to make that stop after work to get everything out before they go home to their families to spend quality time. We look forward to witnessing the positive changes with our members that will occur as each day passes. Both Taylor and I noticed positive changes quickly and that makes you want to keep at it to maintain your healthy best self.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
We plan to open our first location and already begin the second location in a completely different market across the country.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
The difference between being healthy and not is tremendous. However, it actually doesn’t take a lot of effort to put that “hop back into your step.” You just have to go do the right things in the right way. More workout in less time is the HOTWORX way and these are quick, easy and extremely effective workouts that will help us to maintain the energy that we need to keep doing all that we want to do in our lives as both a real estate agent and professional athlete and business owners too!
