What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have over 28 years of experience in the health and beauty industry, to include Sales and Management for other business owners. This gave me the "bug" to want to go into business for ourselves, and invest in ourselves!
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
My prior experience includes working for a franchise owner, so I got to see what the franchisor brings to the table. Why reinvent the wheel when someone else has gone through all the hard work to create a successful product? Just follow their lead and the map they give you for the road to success!
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
We haven't been able to do a session just yet, but I work with infrared and know the benefits and just fell in love with the concept HOTWORX offers.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was awesome! Mandy really took her time with us. She answered all of our questions. It was very organized and she walked us through a weekly process so we had time to take it all in and do our due diligence to make sure it was right for us.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Unfortunately, we had to do our Orientation Day virtually, due to Covid, but it was well thought out and put together. This company is so organized...there is someone in every position you can think of to help you get into business and up and running successfully. It was so impressive to see and "meet" everyone in their area of expertise and to hear how each of them are going to help us get off the ground. They really have it together. I also love how so many of the team members have been with this growing company for many years, shows stability!
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Do your due diligence, lots of research, make sure to get your questions answered...in the end, you will find just how easy HOTWORX makes getting into business!

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
One of the things we had been researching in a business that we wanted to offer is that it brings something to our community! We love to network with other small business owners and to be able to help each other out, no matter what kind of business you have. We really look forward to sharing this with our community!
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Our first goal is to open with 300 members, reaching 500 by month 5, and 1000 members before end of year. Also....opening the second location as soon as possible!
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX is affording me with a position I love...that is to help and educate people with their personal goals! Professionally, it is allowing me to finally go from being someone else's manager to being my own! It also affords Sean the ability to grow in his field. Personally, for us...it will allow us more time with our young kids, being able to get them involved in extracurricular activities, but actually being able to be there to watch them!
