What led you to explore franchise opportunities?
For years now we have looked into the idea of buying into a franchise, however nothing had sparked our interest at the time. When we discovered HOTWORX in 2018 and the benefits it offered to people we were immediately interested. HOTWORX is not a traditional fitness studio. HOTWORX is the only fitness studio in the world that can offer its clients the ability to workout while recovering and detoxing the body. With the innovation of HOTWORX’s method of 3D Training – heat, infrared energy, and exercise, we can have an impact on someone’s life that far outreaches a good physique or muscle tone. A franchised business offers us the independence of owning our own business with an already establish and successful business system. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to invest in HOTWORX and to start significantly changing lives!
Can you describe your first HOTWORX experience?
My first HOTWORX session was Hot Cycle in Bowling Green, KY. When you walk into a HOTWORX studio for the first-time, the ambiance of the design and studio layout immediately makes you feel like you are in a state of the art and innovative facility. The design is industrial chic which matches perfectly with the color of the Canadian hemlock wood. Hot Cycle is a short 12-minute workout that had me drenched in sweat by the end of the session. The Virtual Instructors motivate you through three different intensities as you earn the burn and sweat out toxins and burn calories.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was a smooth and informative process. Mandy was great to work with! She was extremely knowledgeable about HOTWORX and was able to answer all the questions we had. Each week we went through a different slide show about different parts of the business. We finished the Discovery Process feeling comfortable and at ease with our decision to pursue our investment in HOTWORX.
What was it like attending Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day dived deeper into the content that was provided to us through the Discovery Process. We were able to hear from and ask the individual departments questions that came up during their presentations. The executive team was inspiring in their commitment to the brand and the system that was in place. Following the signing we went out to dinner and had a lot of fun with other franchisees that also signed that day. The other franchisees and us became part of a little family and it’s nice to have them to connect with today!
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I would say my biggest advice is to make sure you do your research and know exactly what you are getting into. If your passion is in fitness and helping people to achieve their fitness goals, then HOTWORX is right for you!

What goals do you have in bringing HOTWORX to your market?
We definitely want to focus on making an impact in the lives of our clients by providing them with the best workout, recovery, and detox in the city. Our goal is to get to that 500 Member Level in the first 6 months to a year. In our studio, we will have a culture based on community and acceptance to drive our clients to bring all their friends and family.
What are you most excited for in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Honestly, to workout in our own studio and take on the 90 Day Burn Off Challenge!
