What led you to explore franchise opportunities?
I began exploring franchise opportunities to have more freedom for my work, life balance. One day as I was exploring franchise opportunities, HOTWORX appeared and I just knew that is exactly what I wanted to invest in and grow as a business owner. I immediately entered my information to be contacted for more information and become the next franchisee.

Can you describe your first HOTWORX experience?
My first HOTWORX session was during my orientation visit in New Orleans at the Marrero location. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. When I walked in, I could feel the energy and was excited to get into a sauna. My first session was a Hot Yoga session – yoga is not a part of my regular exercise routine – so this made me nervous to see if I could keep up with the virtual instructor. Once I got into the sauna and the session started, I immediately felt comfortable. Half way through the Hot Yoga session, I could not believe the sweat that was pouring off me, but I didn’t feel tired – I felt energized. After my Hot Yoga session, I gave the Hot Cycle and Hot Blast sessions a try. Once again, cycling and biking are not a part of my regular exercise routine. And once again, I felt comfortable and energized. I left the studio feeling refreshed. It was a great experience and made me even more excited to be a part of the HOTWORX family.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
My experience going through the Discovery Process was a little overwhelming – there was so much to learn and let ‘soak in’, but I also could not wait to have the next meeting to learn more. Mandy was great during the process. She was very up-beat, knowledgeable and informative. I feel the process is well laid out to ensure the information is delivered effectively and questions can be answered after the information had been absorbed.

What was it like attending Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
My experience during Orientation Day was also a little overwhelming. There were a lot of people to meet and so much information to take in. As we went through each stage of the opening process, I felt much more comfortable with the process with each stage that was introduced. One thing that stood out to me the most, was the feeling that there would always be support available no matter what stage I am in during the opening process.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I honestly have not looked at any other franchises and am unaware of how any of their discovery or opening processes would be like, but one piece of advice I would give to any other entrepreneurs considering an opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX would be to take the leap of faith and just do it. The whole process is overwhelming and you will be nervous at first, but once you get into it, you will realize the support, knowledge and expertise you will have behind you to help you get to where you want to be with your new venture and HOTWORX.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. I am a nurse and I believe having a regular workout routine helps with more than just your body. Along the same line, I like to help people. Being a HOTWORX franchisee will give me the opportunity to share the benefits of the infrared saunas related to mind, body, and soul.
2. The HOTWORX brand is a strong brand and has proven to be successful. Hearing and seeing the support I will have during my franchisee process, I have no doubt in my mind that I will be successful and make the HOTWORX brand stronger.
3. I believe in the HOTWORX concept. I believe in the benefits of the infrared saunas and want to share those benefits with others, whether it be for health or wellness.

What goals do you have in bringing HOTWORX to your market?
The goals I plan to bring to my market with the HOTWORX brand first and foremost include helping members meet their health and wellness goals. I will help my members meet these goals by offering a variety of workout types at an affordable membership fee. When choosing a health club, it is important that the features are worth the price you pay and offer a variety of workouts to reduce boredom.

What are you most excited for in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I am most excited to see how my market embraces the HOTWORX brand. It will be a new concept for our area, but I do feel that my market will embrace the concept and will continue to grow by meeting their health and wellness goals with the HOTWORX concept.
