HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Travis, Tymeka, and Inez Whiteside, who were awarded a franchise license in Asheville, NC!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We decided as a family to consider a new business opportunity as we have worked well independently on different business ventures, but not health and wellness related, which we are very passionate about. Travis discovered HOTWORX and couldn’t wait to tell the rest of the family how much he loved it and the benefits he was getting with the infrared saunas along with working out.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We have independent businesses and decided we liked the idea of franchising due to the guidance and experience most franchises have with running a successful business model.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
The first impression with HOTWORX was one of a kind. I have always been that guy in the gym with multiple layers on as well as going into the sauna after working out. I loved that I was able to work out and sweat profusely in a short amount of time.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was great! Mandy was very thorough, detailed, and informative with all the information that was given as well made us feel comfortable with taking the next steps to actually executing a franchise agreement.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Although orientation was virtual it was very informative and interactive. The HOTWORX team was very personable and passionate which made us feel like we have been a part of the team since day one. After orientation we knew that we were in good hands with a team who is willing to help us grow.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Research other opportunities and weigh the pros and cons and make sure that the HOTWORX vision aligns with theirs. When it comes to health in fitness you will not find another opportunity as unique as HOTWORX.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
There isn’t anything like this in our community and with our background in health and wellness we know it will be exciting for those in our community who don’t know much about the benefits.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Our first goal would be to make ourselves well established in our communities so that everyone knows what HOTWORX is and how important health and wellness is. Secondly, as CEO Steve mentioned on Orientation Day, BREAK RECORDS!!!
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX will help us achieve our personal goals by allowing us to use their platform to promote to all communities and organizations how important our health and wellness is long term. Professionally, HOTWORX will help us grow within the franchise business world but will also help our independent businesses grow with the constant coaching and accountability which can transfer to our businesses.
