What led you to explore franchise opportunities?
I’ve considered a few franchise opportunities in the past, just never took the next step. Having started my real estate business from the ground up, 17 years ago, (I am currently the broker/owner of a residential real estate brokerage in Denver, CO) I knew that when I was ready to embark on another business investment, that it would be a franchise. The reasons are obvious– more or less turn-key business with systems in place; benefit from franchisor’s background, track record, and proven experience; training in place to operate the business; operational support; marketing/advertising plan for brand, etc. I did not want, though I did consider a few other new business ideas, to start from the beginning. As long as I could find the right franchise concept, I would go this route.

Can you describe your first HOTWORX experience?
Well, we don’t have a HOTWORX studio in Colorado yet (hopefully, we’ll be one of the first!) so I was only able to visit a studio when we were in New Orleans for our Orientation Day. It was awesome! I’ll be honest, I am not a fitness guru but I think I will become one! I loved the boutique feel of the studio, the semi-private work-out with just 1 or 2 others, and the infrared sauna heat felt great! Looking forward to getting our site up and running so I can become my own best testimonial for the workouts and HOTWORX.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
I went through the process with Cynthia Mesa-Toney. Cynthia was great! We hit it off and I enjoyed working through the modules with her. She was patient and didn’t pressure me at all– she clearly wanted to be sure this opportunity was a good fit for HOTWORX and for me in every way, I appreciated that!

What was it like attending Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Great experience! We really appreciated that Nancy Price met us at the airport and took us to our hotel, that was a huge help. Orientation Day was a full, very organized day– nice to meet and chat with everyone at corporate, very friendly– the food and snacks were awesome! And the content during each person’s presentation was just the right amount.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Just do it 🙂

Sharing HOTWORX with my friends and family, I know they’ll benefit from HOTWORX in many ways and will love it!
