HOTWORX congratulates franchisee, Sybil Davis, who was awarded a franchise license in the Monroe-El Dorado market and recently opened her Monroe, LA studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I remember back to my early college years, completing large complex marketing and business plans, dreaming of one day owning my own business. As an HR professional, I believe that this opportunity is a win-win. It will be beneficial to my employees, my members, as well as my hometown community. I believe that fitness is an important key to true happiness with our mind, body and soul.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Why recreate the wheel? The HOTWORX products, business plans, marketing strategies, latest innovation in technology, and the amount of training resources available speak for themselves.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Before I went to HOTWORX for the first time, I really didn’t understand the concept of how it all works and only thought they offered hot yoga. After my first initial visit, the concept and products were mind-blowing. Having the convenience of 24/7 access, being able to work out in half the time, sweat 7x more than a normal workout and seeing fast results was all it took to know this was my kind of fitness studio.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Kayla was very professional and welcoming to the HOTWORX team. She provided me with different modules to read and review before each weekly call. The modules used during the Discovery Process were a great tool and I found them very helpful. Kayla was always available to answer any of my questions. I have no doubt she will be one of my biggest cheerleaders during my HOTWORX journey.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was very exciting. Our virtual meeting was about 8 hours long and was conducted using Zoom. It was very informative and provided a lot of good information. I was able to meet the founder, members from the executive team, various business partners, and other new owners.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
You will get back the results based off what efforts you put in. It’s not easy but it will be worth it!
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. HOTWORX is just that. It is HOT and it WORX! I was very impressed with the team and products. I knew right away that I wanted to be part of this winning team.
2. The ability to offer HOTWORX to others and introduce them to all the health benefits of 3D Training (Heat, Infrared Energy and Exercise).
3. The results that can be achieved by all ages and all levels of fitness (from professional athletes to beginners).
What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I had the opportunity to offer a 24-hour access HOTWORX studio in various states, which a few of the locations included several of my favorite vacationing spots. However, my parents always provided me with their great wisdom and advice growing up. One thing my father would say was "you can succeed at anything you put your mind to but remember to always stay humble and never forget where you came from". With that being said, I am super excited to offer HOTWORX to my hometown community. This location will be the first in the area to provide the community with the benefits of infrared technology with shorter workout times.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I plan to have 250 members during pre-sale and hit 500 members in the first 6-12 months.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Personally, I have spent a lot of money over the years on different gyms, personal trainers, diet programs and other fitness routines. They were either overcrowded, overpriced, made me feel uncomfortable, did not hold my attention and/or I did not see results. With HOTWORX, I can’t wait to schedule my next appointment, using the convenient HOTWORX app, and getting “into my zone.”
Professionally, I want to be able to share this experience with as many people as possible. I want others to be able to accomplish their own goals whether it is to increase flexibility, flush toxins, improve balance or tone, all while burning massive amounts of calories.
