HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Brian Roth and Sarah Levine, who were awarded 3 franchise licenses in the New York market and are currently in Presale at their Miller Place, NY studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have had 3 successful practices during the past 22 years, all of them starting from scratch, and built them into awesome businesses that have provided for myself and my family the lifestyle we have wanted. We also own commercial real estate that Sarah runs and handles all the bookkeeping for. As a chiropractor who runs a wellness center, this opportunity seemed like the perfect fit. Combining exercise with infrared is something I am very familiar with. We have had infrared saunas in our offices for the past 10 years and my patients, clients and myself understand the amazing health benefits that they provide. HOTWORX is just taking this to a complete new level.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Why reinvent the wheel? I have always started my businesses from scratch and had to learn some things the hard way. I feel going the franchise route, with a proven track record for success, is the way to go. Following systems that are already in place, along with hard work, will ensure our success and we are ready.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
We have not yet had the opportunity to do a HOTWORX session, as there are none located in our area, but we have seen the workouts on video and understand them completely.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was awesome and Mandy was the best. We learned more about HOTWORX and franchising in that 8 weeks than we ever could have on our own.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
The Orientation Day was solid. It was great hearing from all the executives and getting all the information needed to make an informed decision.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
The advice I would give is to not get overwhelmed. There is a lot of information to take in and it can be pretty intimidating. Make a decision to do it and just follow through on everything you are supposed to do. Don't overthink it, make the decision and don't look back.
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. Perfect fit for our lifestyle and what we were looking for.
2. It's a proven successful system that works if followed.
3. We will be the first studio in the Long Island area, which gives us a great opportunity to introduce something to the community that everyone can benefit from.
What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
This is a complete new concept to this area that virtually no one has heard of, and with the right marketing and management in place, we feel like our community will immediately see the benefits and want to be part of this new style of fitness studio.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Our goals for our first year are simple. Build up our membership to over 750 SATISFIED members, and maybe break some records along the way. We want to learn everything there is to learn about our business and make sure our management and staff are fully knowledgeable about the business also. Teach and educate our members about all the benefits of HOTWORX so they can be out there as advocates for us as well. There are no better referrals than third party referrals.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
We have personal goals that are mostly financial to live the life we want to live for us and our family. We want to accomplish these goals in the next 10 years and we will work as hard as we have to to get to where we want to be. We know if we work hard now, we will have the time we want to spend with our family doing the important things in life later. Time is the only commodity that you'll never get back and we don't want to miss out on certain things. Professionally, this will add to our business portfolio and be another stream of income that we can be proud of and count on. It's also important to us that we are bringing something new and different to our community that everyone can enjoy and benefit from.
