HOTWORX congratulates franchisee, Melissa Stratton, who was awarded a franchise license in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market and recently opened her St. Louis Park, MN (West End Blvd) studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
My best friend, Leah, introduced me to HOTWORX. She lives in Bettendorf, Iowa and there is a HOTWORX location in her area. After every workout, she was glowing. I started to learn about HOTWORX through her experience. She loved the variety of workout options, the infrared energy element, and the service was top notch. The timing was perfect because I had just begun to open my mind to the next phase in my entrepreneurship drive. The stars did align!!
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I am an independent business owner currently. I love my position and I would not trade it for the world. Although during my journey searching for my next entrepreneurial adventure, it just made sense to have someone else manage the systems, develop the brand, and be innovative. I already have so much going as an independent business owner managing everything. I felt like this would be a perfect combination for my next venture. I could still be front and center with my business while adding more to my plate.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I loved how I felt when I was done with my first HOTWORX workout. I was very proud of my experience and I wanted to tell everyone!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process with Cynthia was amazing. She was super thorough, supportive, and patient. I wanted to go from A to Z and I appreciated her keeping me confident in the process.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
We had a blast! During our break, my husband and I were jumping and hugging. It was so fun to meet everyone and hear about their journeys!
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
We are so happy with our choice. It has to feel right.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
My community is going to love HOTWORX as much as I do. I live in Minnesota and it is cold for a major part of each year. Heated workouts are a dream for us in the tundra!
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
We are going big! I want 1,000 members! Have fun! Work hard!
