What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I first saw HOTWORX in an advertisement and it piqued my interest. I wanted to work out in one. As a Physical Therapist I was aware of the benefits of infrared and strongly believed in its health improving qualities. That's when I realized I couldn't because there were none in the Philadelphia area. This opened the door and my mind to the business opportunity. So here we are, it's time to bring HOTWORX to Philly.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Franchising brings the experience, technology and brand name to this fitness concept. Individual production would be very difficult and honestly wasn't an option.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
My first HOTWORX session was amazing!!! I've been working out my entire life and I've never had such a feeling. The experience of infrared and exercise created a body response during and after that was unmatched in 30 years! Boom, let's do this was my immediate response!!!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was long and time consuming but honestly needed to be. The preparation and understanding that is needed to make an informed decision was laid out and all my questions were answered. My organizer was Patricia Gattuso and she did a great job with both explanation, understanding and occasional push! Thanks Patty!
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was a good day to meet leadership within the franchise. Pleasant and informative, it made me more comfortable with the process and the organization. Mine was Virtual so I didn't get the full experience, Nancy and Steve still owe me that dinner......😉
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
My advice to other candidates is after discovery if you're still not sure about the opportunity then take a trip and work out in a HOTWORX sauna. If that doesn't open up your eyes to the benefits and opportunity then.....step off cause nothing will!!
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. Unique and incredibly beneficial fitness concept.
2. As a business owner and Physical Therapist I've seen many fitness based opportunities. This was the one that made me want to do all the work that needs to be done to bring this concept to Philly!

What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I plan to have HOTWORX recognized throughout the medical, social, and health oriented communities as the premiere place to restore the healthy you!
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Well I've accomplished most of everything I wanted to after 20 years as an owner and 27 years as a Physical Therapist. My hope is that this will be a new chapter to my experiences as a business owner and health care worker with financial and health growth personally. Professionally, I hope it opens doors to the community to be recognized as a premiere health care provider and educator.
