HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Emily and Cody Ball, who were awarded 3 franchise licenses in the Denver market and have opened their first studio location in Greeley, CO (Centerplace)!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Cody and I are currently self employed with a multitude of businesses, from real estate to ranching. We are always looking to diversify, and this particular business intrigued us for the value it could provide to our community. As a full time working and stay at home mom, I know how hard it is to fit the gym in so this opportunity seemed like something that would be a perfect fit for myself and others in my shoes.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We honestly never thought about a franchise, it was more the draw of this particular business that intrigued us, not the franchise element. However, it will be a fun change of pace to have all the elements done for us instead of having to create them ourselves like we usually do in our businesses.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Loved it. It kicked my butt, and it was just the 15 minute session. I can’t wait to be able to utilize it in our hometown!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was a very streamlined and efficient process. Cynthia is an absolute doll and was super helpful.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
It was a long but eventful and informative day. It definitely helped us feel confident in the steps we were taking moving forward.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Understand that opening a business is never easy – even if you are offered tools and support like these. There are tons of little things that you have to manage and that come up, so just be ready for anything. That being said, if you put in the work it’s absolutely worth it to build something like this.

3. It seemed like a fit for us personally in diversifying our portfolio while sticking to a sector we were both familiar with and passionate about: fitness.

The ability to bring something effective, new and exciting to an area that is rarely the first to get access to things like this.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Create a business with over 500 members that is well run and efficient with a fantastic and loyal team. Have clients that love the workout, the results, and the entire experience.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
If we do our job getting members, and the numbers portrayed are accurate, then it will be a great asset financially, which always lines up with our professional goals. We’re also excited to utilize it for our own fitness.
