HOTWORX welcomes new franchisee, Brandie Munks, who was awarded a franchise license in Dallas, Texas!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I myself am an active member of HOTWORX. After coming in and seeing the way the gym was set up and catered to all walks of fitness, I knew I wanted to be more than a member, I wanted to be a part of the TEAM. I have a strong desire to help people not only achieve their goals but I have an immense passion for the fitness industry. Investing in yourself and your passion helps make for a successful business, helping others invest in themselves is rewarding in itself.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I find that having a support team helps, but allowing my members to be able to hold a membership and achieve their goals anywhere is a huge benefit. By having an independent business, my members would only be able to achieve their goals at one gym. Franchising not only helps the members but also helps the business and all franchisees, it allows for my brand exposure.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
My first session at HOTWORX was in two words, life changing.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Mandy was extremely informative and easy to work with.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
It was welcoming, I feel like have an amazing support team behind me.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Absolutely do it! I would say be ready to have passion, drive and a lifetime of gratification. Knowing that you will be helping all walks of life achieve their fitness goals as well as your own is not something you can duplicate. You have the potential to help someone gain their confidence, the chance to watch someone do something they may have never been able to do before or help someone get back to doing what they have done in the past. You get to all of these things while allowing you to share a brand that at some point helped you.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I want people to be able to feel the same way I do when I walk in and when I leave every day that I attend HOTWORX.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
My first goal and order of business is to obtain a large number of members. I want to expose this brand to as many people as I possibly can. Once I do this, I know that HOTWORX will take off on its own.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Being able to come in everyday and acquaint myself with our members will help create a support team and I feel will also help build trust with my members. Being able to look forward to seeing them every day will help keep myself accountable and my drive to continue to build on the business.
