What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We knew that we would be moving to a different state in 2021 to be close to our daughter and son-in-law who are expecting their first child in April. I also knew that I'd need to resign from my current position, so we were looking for something that we would love to do and excel at.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I'm currently a franchise business consultant for a major restaurant chain. I love working with franchisees, and believe in the franchise business model. I also loved the idea of being in business, but not by myself. We didn't want to re-invent the wheel. I loved the concept, and I felt it would be a great fit for us.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I was truly hooked on my first visit. I had a great workout. It was not easy but very motivating. It felt like something I could get better at each time without the judgement. Shortly after I joined as a member, I knew I wanted to be part of this unique concept and great company.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Great! I submitted an inquiry to learn more about the franchise opportunity and Teresa reached out to me. She then walked me through the process with a series of weekly phone calls and videos educating us on all aspects of the business. It was clear that this company has it together. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about what they do!
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
We were super impressed with Orientation. To be honest, more so than I had expected. Not that I had low expectations, but I couldn't help but compare them to my current employer. And, with the knowledge, information, professionalism and organization they presented...there really was no comparison.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
If you believe in the franchise model, don't be afraid to jump in to this opportunity. While they have a very hands on approach, YOU will be crucial to the success of your business.
