HOTWORX Franchising welcomes Beau and DelRae Cramer of Oklahoma City, OK as Franchisees
Like most franchisees, Beau and DelRae Cramer always dreamed of starting their own business. Investing in an established business model with ongoing support and training made exploring franchise opportunities the most appealing route. The couple has become very involved in the fitness industry over the last few years. DelRae recently competed in her first fitness competition and Beau has been working with a trainer and considering competing himself. This passion fostered the Cramer’s desire to help others realize their fitness goals and improve their overall health.When it came to starting their own business, they didn’t want to open just another gym. Beau and DelRae were looking for something new to bring to Oklahoma City and HOTWORX is exactly that. In working closely with Franchise Recruiter, Bebe De Leon, through the Discovery Process, the Cramer’s fell in love with HOTWORX as a workout, the 24 Hour Infrared Studio business model, and the corporate team working behind the scenes. Beau and DelRae Cramer attended Discovery Day in Oxford, MS and were able to join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of the very first HOTWORX Studio location. - How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
We honestly loved the entire process. Everyone was so helpful, especially Bebe, and made us feel at home and as if we were already a part of the team. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and promptly. The process was very well organized as well so that each bit of information was given in a clear and concise manner. We never felt overwhelmed at all!
- Can you describe your first HOTWORX session?
Our first HOTWORX experience was quite unique as we attended the Grand Opening/Discovery Day at the Oxford location where we were able to meet almost everyone on the team. We were also fortunate enough to get to meet a HOTWORX Virtual Instructor. She happened to be looking for a workout at the same time, so all three of us did Hot Iso together. That was definitely an experience – watching our Virtual Instructor on the screen, while standing right next to her working out in person…no pressure whatsoever!
The workout itself was amazing! It was challenging and intense, but in a good way. I don’t think my husband or I have ever been so wet during a workout, but surprisingly, when we were finished and dried off we felt refreshed. It is hard to describe. Our skin just felt clean – almost like you feel after a shower, except we hadn’t showered – and that feeling lasted well into the next day.
- What were the top reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. We 150% believe in the concept of group exercise in a more private setting with the advanced technology and benefits of infrared heat. We are VERY excited about this!
2. We LOVED all the support that the HOTWORX team provides for its franchisees. That impressed us just as much as HOTWORX itself. We love how the entire team feels more like a family and wants to do everything in their power to see their franchisees succeed. My husband and I both come from a small town in Oklahoma where we place a lot of value in the character and personal relationships amongst people. Steve and his entire team match these values and, while they are all working and professional, the family like atmosphere that we like is there.
- What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Go through the entire process, including Discovery Day, meet the team, and DO a workout before making your decision. Buying a franchise is a huge decision! You need to believe in the company, concept, and the team behind the scenes to have the best chance at being a successful franchise owner. You won’t be able to do this if you don’t take the time to fully explore every aspect of the company.
Furthermore, if you enjoy fitness and you want to share that passion with others and possibly help them realize the same passion, you need to give HOTWORX serious consideration because this is something that will get them excited and it is NEW…but it won’t be long before everyone will know what HOTWORX is. You definitely want to make a move now and ride that wave of excitement and growth!
- What are you most excited for in your first year as HOTWORX franchisees?
We are excited to start our own business in an industry that we are passionate about. We want to bring something new and exciting to our community that gets people motivated and EXCITED to improve their personal health and fitness level. HOTWORX will do that! We really feel like this is something that will attract people from all age groups and all fitness levels and are just excited to see the lives of so many improve! Finally, we are excited to be working with the entire team at HOTWORX. After meeting and talking with everyone, we feel right at home and like this is exactly where God has led us to be!
