We first set out on a mission two years ago to find the Top 5 Virtual Instructors to represent HOTWORX by leading our infrared sauna workouts and to help us continue to revolutionize the fitness industry as brand ambassadors. Last month, fifteen fitness instructor professionals joined us at our annual franchise convention in Las Vegas to participate in the Final Round of the 2019 Virtual Instructor Competition and we were blown away by their enthusiasm, performance, and motivation!The Final Round began with a combine that included one-on-one interviews and short, choreographed isometric style workouts and cycle instruction. Each competitor was evaluated on mental readiness, technical form, and workout queuing by judges Stephen P. Smith, CEO & HOTWORX Creator; Kasie Banks, Executive Marketing Director; Niki Cofini, Marketing Director- Franchise Performance; and Shawna Bacon, HR Coordinator & Operations Support.
According to Banks, "With so much growth for the HOTWORX brand just in the last year, it was exciting to have so many finalists that are members or managers at their local studio. I'm confident that the top competitors selected this year share the same passion we have in helping create positive change in the lives of others through virtually instructed, infrared sauna workouts. We can't wait to work this group and already consider them part of the HOTWORX family!"At this year's convention, we announced plans for a new Virtual Personal Trainer (VPT) feature in the HOTWORX Burn Off App. The VPT will help maximize fitness results with use of the Functional Exercise (FX) Zone by offering short workout videos that focus on a variety of muscles in the body. These workouts will be virtually instructed and, in addition to the Top 5 Virtual Instructors this year, we selected an additional two finalists as your Virtual Personal Trainers! (The VPT project is in the early stages of development and an official launch date will be announced at a later date.)The Virtual Instructor Competition Championship was held on Wednesday, July 24th. The competitors participated in an "Earn the Burn Challenge" and one on-stage final interview questions in front of attendees at the annual HOTWORX & Planet Beach franchise convention. We are thrilled to announce the Top 5 winners of the 2019 HOTWORX Virtual Instructor Competition: Chelsea Rae Barton, Brittany Copeland, Courtney Harness, Keeley Kourvelas, and Natalie Nocentelli.
