What lead you to explore franchise opportunities?
I started looking at franchises because I wanted a career change. I have been in the dental field most of my adult life. I wanted to try something new. We have also enjoyed the freedom of being practice owners. I knew I did not want to go back to working for someone else. Franchising seemed like a great option. I get a career change and I could continue to work for myself.

Can you describe your first HOTWORX experience?
My first HOTWORX session was at a Planet Beach. My trainer and I decided to mix it up and try something new. We did the Hot Pilates session. I really enjoyed the workout. It was challenging and exhilarating at the same time.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was really easy. It was not at all overwhelming. I think covering one topic per conversation made the most difference for me. I could focus on one thing at a time. I was not bombarded with all this information to process in a short time. I had a good understanding of one thing before I had to move on to something else. Bebe was amazing to work with.

I have never franchised or owned my own business. I was nervous about even checking in to HOTWORX because I was feeling intimidated by my lack of knowledge. After my first conversation with Bebe, I felt encouraged that this was something that I might actually be able to do. She was honest with me. She did not make me feel dumb, even when my questions were probably a little dumb LOL.

What was it like attending Discovery Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Discovery Day was actually pretty fun. Honestly, I was not at all looking forward to it. I had this vision in my head of sitting in this stuffy room with a bunch of suits talking over my head all day. I was expecting a long boring day. It was the exact opposite of that. Everyone was really nice. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I was very impressed by how well they all knew their job.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I think the biggest piece of advice I would give someone would be to listen. You should listen and ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable. Whether you are an existing business owner or a newbie like me, there is always something new we can learn from each other.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
I think one of the biggest reasons for me choosing HOTWORX was the concept behind it. I think the idea behind the infrared heat is awesome. I also believe in the brand. I believe that the company is passionate about what they do.

I love helping people. I have had to deal with body image issues my entire life. Being a part of something that could potentially help other people overcome those issues means a lot to me. I genuinely want to see people improve their quality of life.

What goals do you have in bringing HOTWORX to your market?
One of the biggest goals I have is to give people here a different workout experience. We do not have any HOTWORX studios in Knoxville yet. I think it would be amazing to be the first 24/7 HOTWORX studio here.

What are you most excited for in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I know without a doubt that I am most excited to see people reach their fitness goals. This is going to be a game changer for people!
