HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Devin & Jason Edwards, who were awarded a franchise license in Dallas, Texas!
What led you to explore franchise opportunities?
I was a member at a HOTWORX in the Dallas market before I moved to Austin. When I moved to Austin I looked into transferring or adding an Austin location to my membership and I found out there wasn’t a location in Austin, which lead me here. [Devin has recently decided to open her studio location in the Dallas market.]
Can you describe your first HOTWORX experience?
The first time I went to HOTWORX I really enjoyed the feeling after I left. Most of the time I enjoy the gym, but this was a different experience completely. I was able to feel refreshed instead of tired.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was smooth! Nancy is the best- she was patient with all of my questions and direct with where the overall vision for the company is going.
What was it like attending Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
The team is super fun! They were all full of life and seemed passionate about HOTWORX and getting you started.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Appreciate the process, but make sure the business aligns with your core values- honestly advice I’d give anyone who is getting into any form of relationship.
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. I’m passionate about my overall health- this is something I take very seriously.2. I love helping others.3. I love HOTWORX! I used to tell all my coworkers back in Dallas how amazing going everyday was. Of course, it took until I left the Dallas office for them to start joining but it’s so fun to see them all enjoy going now.
What goals do you have in bringing HOTWORX to your market?
My main goal is to provide a unique way to workout. Dallas is very health/fitness oriented so being able to bring a new and flexible workout to Dallas will be amazing.
What are you most excited for in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
To see all my friends down here join the gym, but also to grow. I have big plans and I’m very numbers driven so just excelling in the goals I’ve made.
