An Opportunity with a Support Team

HOTWORX congratulates franchisee, Tony Lasky, who was awarded 2 franchise licenses - 1 in the Lansing market and 1 in the Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek market. He recently opened his East Lansing, MI (Skyvue) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have worked as a sales/logistics manager at Great Lakes Glads, Inc. for over 25 years. In 2010, I purchased a golf course at auction and have made it a viable and beautiful course. I have 4 children who are leaving the nest and I felt it was time for a new challenge. I experienced a very grueling illness in the early 2000’s and infrared therapy helped me recover.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I revamped an independent business and it was extremely costly. I thought finding an opportunity with a support team would be to my advantage.

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
The first session was exciting for me, as I was already a big supporter of how the sauna can help each individual, and I was highly motivated to learn more.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was great! Patty was extremely knowledgable and very easy to speak to. I could feel her enthusiasm through the phone. It's so genuine that it makes you feel that she has something you want to be a part of.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day is a quite an experience. You meet a lot of people who are a big part of the success of HOTWORX. The information all at once is a bit overwhelming and I initially thought, “wow, this is a lot.” The amazing part was that about half way through the day you could feel that everyone is there to help and have an extreme interest in your success to promote the brand they love.

What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I have looked at many franchise opportunities over the past 6 months. I haven’t found one with the support system that HOTWORX has developed. The business model is easy to understand and you have an opportunity to provide a service that will help anyone who joins. If you can help people reach their individual health goals, make money providing a great experience for your clientele, and have a great support team to help you every step of the way, you should definitely take a look at this opportunity.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I'm most excited about the ability to see people you know become better versions of themselves.

How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
I love the challenge of setting sales goals and pushing forward to make a business a profitable venture. Personally, I love to help people and my personal goal is to help as many people as I can achieve more than they initially thought possible. Financially, I feel there is a huge opportunity to enhance my retirement portfolio and pass a great business opportunity on to my daughters.
