HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Amy and Robert Grudzien, who were awarded a franchise license in the Greenville-New Bern-Washington market and recently opened their Surf City, NC studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We have built an auto repair shop that has been very successful however, it is not my passion, which is perfectly fine. This was my husband's dream and he has been very successful. I have learned a LOT in the last 6 years about building a business from the ground up and realized that I did not want to go that route again. I was introduced to HOTWORX through a friend of my daughters. We went to try it and I fell in love. When I added the app and it had Franchise opportunity on there I inquired, met Nancy and here we are!
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We built our first business from the ground up. I thought I would never want to own a business again. Now that we are over a major hump and I have time to focus a bit, I realized that I needed something for me that I could truly get behind and put my everything into. This has been an incredible experience so far. There are so many similarities to what we strive for in our business which is very encouraging. I have learned from all of the mistakes and am looking forward to following the instruction of such a well functioning machine!
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Loved it! I was skeptical at first since I had never been in an infrared sauna but it was awesome!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Nancy was so informative, I could tell that there was a very well put together process and I enjoyed learning during every conversation. It was nice to have all of the modules as well to go over and look at things at my pace so there was nothing hidden.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
It was a long day but it was full of great information. I was totally impressed with how smooth everything went, how knowledgeable everyone was and how almost everyone has been with the company for so long. It was also refreshing to know that every aspect of this has been well thought through and that I will be part of a team that is so committed. The passion and the respect was obvious, which helped to seal the deal on my end.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Check it out! This company is going to continue to thrive and I feel like becoming part of this family is going to be one of the best decisions of my life!

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I feel that this is an incredible opportunity for so many. It's unlike anything else and I cannot wait to see the response we get from the community. I feel that it is geared toward not just one or 2 groups of people, I think that everyone could benefit in one way or another and I cannot wait to get started in our fast growing area!
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I would love to break records In presale, hit the 500 club and get to, at the very least, 1000 members in our first year.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Since I am currently a member, I look forward to continuing on my health journey...I've never felt better! I believe that this is an opportunity for us to own a business that people choose to come to and who are happy to see you :) Not that we aren't the best around at what we currently do, but this is something that I believe in and would love to pass on to as many as I can. I hope to be able to open multiple locations if all goes well!
