What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Tay and I have been in banking and mortgage for almost 20 years but knew we always wanted to start a business. We have managed rental properties and have been researching franchises for the past 4 years. It was time to diversify from real estate and focus on becoming entrepreneurs.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We understand that a franchise has a system in place that works if we follow the steps. We also like that a franchise has the support needed when starting a business.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I wished it was longer! (haha) Not realizing I could try multiple sessions and being used to Bikram, all I thought was "I wish it was an hour."
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was great and a lot of information. We felt like we had all the information prior to Orientation Day. Our Recruiter did an awesome job providing all the details. I do wish we were able to meet the entire time, whether by video or recording prior to Orientation Day. It's always good to see the faces of the people you will work with!
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
We felt like it was great and, of course, our favorite part was being able to meet everyone and feel the environment at the company. The information felt repetitive as our Recruiter was able to touch on a lot of the information.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Get pre-approved for lending!! We were going to buy a different franchise years ago and they asked us to have a pre-approval prior to signing anything. Although we didn't sign the franchise agreement with them, that was a huge task that felt lifted from us. I feel like if we were given a list of lenders while in discovery, we could have began that process and not feel as overwhelmed.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
Being able to encourage and help others feel their best!
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Getting to the 500 club as soon as possible and to keep a team motivated, engaged and excited with no turnover.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX is a profitable business platform that will allow residual income in the future and it will allow us to fulfill our dream of becoming entrepreneurs.
