What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We previously owned 2 hot yoga studios in Sacramento, CA and sold our last one in 2017 before our move to Merced. There is so much about the HOTWORX sauna workout and business plan that we align with that it was a no brainier to jump at this opportunity.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I like to say that franchising is a fill in the blanks business plan. After doing this on our own we are excited to have a team behind us to help get the job done. I may be a great yoga instructor but to have a successful business you have to be great at everything (marketing, sales, branding etc). HOTWORX is the team behind you helping you win the game.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I loved the infrared heat versus forced air and the fact that I could schedule a workout 24/7. I loved everything about it.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
We worked with Patricia and had a really wonderful experience. The HOTWORX Discovery Process was very thorough. We felt completely informed and taken care of. By the time we got to Orientation Day, we were ready to sign and get started.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was really exciting for us. There was so much information that it could have been overwhelming but was not. The HOTWORX team does a great job of presenting the info in a way that was easy to understand and take in. We felt comfortable to make the decision to join the HOTWORX team.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Do it if you know how to be a team player. To franchise is to understand that you have to do it the HOTWORX way. Even if you think your way is better, you are now part of a much bigger picture that you may not see all the moving parts until the end of the game. Believe in HOTWORX to have your best interest at heart.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We understand the power of exercise in the heat and doing it in an infrared sauna just takes it to a new level. I like to say that it puts your workout on steroids. It is exciting to be able to share all the benefits of infrared exercise with our community.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
To pay off our first location and be developing the second.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX will give me (Jackie) my sense of purpose back. After selling our yoga studios, I have been looking for something that combines my love of heated exercise as well as belonging to a community, not to neglect the financial gains this opportunity presents.
