HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Cassie and Tanner Merritt, who were awarded a franchise license in the Seattle-Tacoma market and recently opened their Stanwood, WA studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We are always working on investing for not only our future but our kids' future as well. We currently own another business and love all the pros that come with it.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We saw a great opportunity in opening a franchise in our growing community. The idea of seeing a franchise doing well and already having a pre-developed plan in place makes us more comfortable with the process.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Working out in a heated space was never something I’d jump right on, but I was so impressed with how many calories I burned in such a short amount of time. Plus, I felt GREAT afterwards!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Our Franchise Recruiter, Kayla, was wonderful to work with. We were impressed by how fast the process was with the amount of information that needed to be relayed- which I (Cassie) am not a patient person, especially when it comes to something so exciting, so I was very happy with the pace!
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
We enjoyed getting to know everyone, it was exciting to even have the opportunity to meet another fellow newbie franchisee couple! Everyone did a great job in explaining everything without it being too overwhelming.
What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
If you feel like it's a “too good to be true” situation, we assure you after many hours invested in learning more about the business with the amazing team who all make it happen, that it is not. Don’t sit on the idea for too long, because I bet someone else in your town is considering the opportunity as well.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We're most excited about the uniqueness of what this franchise has to offer! We know it will impact people's lives in such a positive way and give everyone a different perspective on fitness in general.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Our goal is to open a business that thrives in our community and becomes a well known brand. We also plan to work hard toward obtaining enough members to get into the 500 club and even the 1000 member club!

HOTWORX will help us achieve our goals by having a business that is successful and gives us the financial freedom that we have always worked hard to achieve!
