Game Ready with Infrared Training

Ahhh… Football season is here and a football game is a social event.  Most people want to look and feel their best at social events.

I have written a couple of blog articles about the impact of upcoming vacations as motivational events for your workout program.  A planned vacation such as a trip to Tulum for the beach or an escape to Aspen for a ski trip can do wonders to motivate you to workout.  But it doesn’t have to be a full blown vacation to motivate.  It can be a simple weekend college football game that drives you to give your best effort at the gym or studio.

Of course, it doesn’t have to be a football game.  It might be a wedding, or a house party, or a Mardi Gras ball, or any event that makes you want to feel your best and look your best when you attend.

A hard focus on event readiness through a disciplined and consistent infrared training program is the key to success!

I use football events because I am an ex player and a huge fan.  I am actually writing this blog post as I ride to Oxford, Mississippi on my way to attend an Ole Miss home opener.  I knew this event was coming soon and I am sure it is part of the reason I have been training so hard with weights and with infrared isometrics the past few weeks.  Fortunately the original HOTWORX 24HR Infrared Fitness Studio is located in Oxford so I will get to maintain my program over the football weekend.

Infrared training works faster than traditional fitness.

Infrared training is important if you have a short amount of time to get ready for an event.  You will be amazed at what you can accomplish in 2-4 weeks of infrared sauna training with at least three workouts per week.

It works so well because of the three dimensional nature of the infrared workout (3D Training = Heat + Infrared Energy + Exercise).  Infrared energy penetrates the skin 1.5 inches and goes to work at the cellular level to accelerate your workout results.  One of the many benefits of infrared generated heat is accelerated heat shock protein (HSP) synthesis.  HSP increases with exercise and with exposure to heat.  Heat shock proteins ward off free radicals and elevate hypertrophy (muscle development).  This increased lean muscle development can help with fat oxidation and weight loss.  Muscle uses more than just carbs for fuel it also burns fat for fuel.

More muscle will increase the fat burning capacity.  That said, more heat shock proteins produced from infrared training can mean a leaner you!

So, start using more events beyond vacations to motivate you to a higher fitness level, and turn your training attention to infrared for better results.
