Yoga is often associated with flexibility training and deep breathing, but did you know it can also be an incredible workout that makes you sweat? Sweating is the body’s natural way of detoxifying, regulating temperature, and releasing excess sodium. When you incorporate isometric yoga postures into your routine, you enhance circulation, activate muscles, and build heat by raising your core body temperature, leading to a natural, cleansing sweat session. And you can just imagine how you will sweat when you practice yoga in an infrared sauna!
Unlike high-impact workouts, yoga generates internal heat through mindful movements, breath control, and sustained poses. The combination of muscular engagement and controlled breathing (pranayama) raises body temperature and stimulates perspiration. Sweating during yoga not only helps eliminate toxins but also rejuvenates the skin and energizes the mind.
Sweating through yoga is a powerful way to detox, build strength, and boost energy. Whether you’re holding through an Eagle pose or moving into a challenging Warrior posture, incorporating these heat-building exercises into your routine will help you break a sweat while reaping the mental and physical benefits of yoga. So, roll out your mat, embrace the heat and the movement, and let the sweat flow!
HOTWORX was born out of yoga, hot yoga to be precise. Historically, in fitness, the original heated workouts came from yoga beginning with Bikram in Japan in the early 1970’s. Since that time hot exercise has evolved, much thanks to the workout innovations of HOTWORX. As a customer of HOTWORX myself, I am happy to report that I practice all of the 12 different workouts provided, and I love them all, but admittedly I am always a bit partial to Hot Yoga. I always cross-train with multiple workout types but seem to gravitate back to yoga as my fundamental workout option. Maybe it’s because the mindfulness and isometrics of yoga that promote a great sweat, and I feel so cleansed internally after the workout, especially when practiced inside of the patented HOTWORX infrared sauna.
The bottom line is this. Hot Yoga makes you sweat, and HOTWORX Hot Yoga takes that to another level with the advent of 3D Training. The combination exercise plus heat and then the added element of infrared energy absorption into the skin can supercharge your sweat session for detox, calorie torching and fat burning!
