For any new fitness product or service introduction, testing is very important prior to launch. It all starts with an idea for a product or a new workout. But, any idea must first beg the question, will the product improve the lives of the customers? If the answer is yes, then put the idea to the test!
Here are a couple of examples…
In the case of the HOTWORX fitness sauna (two patents pending), the idea came in August of 2014 on a Jamaican vacation and then a full year of design, creation of components and manufacturer testing ensued. The final end product resulted with a sauna that serves its purpose exceptionally well, which is to provide great hot exercise for a small group of three customers.
Let’s take a look at what it takes to create a great workout. First there is the idea that usually springs from a thought, such as, will it be a new yoga, pilates, or some hybrid form with athletic style isometrics? Or, should we try something entirely different like a hot bands workout for the next launch? The same flow of thinking happens no matter what the new product or service might be. It’s the same with the creation of a workout just as it is for the creation of a retail item, or a machine.
At the HOTWORX headquarters in Marrero, LA, testing is now taking place for two new workouts, Hot Bands and Hot ??? (to be announced soon). The new bands workout is a full body 30 minute workout and here’s a teaser: Hot ??? is the first ever ???… (clue: a 15 minute session) meant to serve as an advanced ???…to be used in conjunction with any other HOTWORX isometric, HIIT, or combined with the new band workout (more to say soon).
