Add heat and infrared energy to your fitness training regimen and you get what we call 3-Dimensional Training. Altering the atmosphere of your workout environment can yield compounded benefits that stay with you even if you are forced to take a break from training for some reason.
I have read many accounts of how quickly strength and muscle diminishes when a person stops working out. Sometimes taking a break from training is necessary due to injury or for other reasons. Major anxiety happens when an athlete or fitness enthusiast has to stop an active lifestyle. Anything that can prolong the fitness level of an athlete during a forced training hiatus is a good practice to consider.

Recently, I was forced by my doctor to stop training entirely for a month due to a minor surgery. I did have time to think about how I would manage this time off from training and I decided to train with super intensity up until the day before the surgery. I maintained my weight training regimen and my HOTWORX infrared workout sessions but with higher levels of intensity prior to surgery.
I have been active in fitness and athletic training for over 30 years now. Looking back on times in my past when I took breaks from training for reasons such as injuries or rest after major competitions, I always noticed significant decreases in strength and conditioning. You should always eat clean food and keep up sufficient levels of protein on a forced break just like you do when you are in training, but think about the quality of your fitness routine prior to a break from training as well.
