The HOTWORX franchise celebrated two major accomplishments this past week. The company ranked among the top franchises in the highly competitive Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500, and in the 4th quarter of last year, the original location accomplished a three year long standing franchise performance milestone.
The Franchise 500 is an annual list compiled and published by Entrepreneur that ranks 500 of the most prominent franchising companies through a submission and review process. The Franchise 500 first began in 1979 and has been published every year since. Let’s take a look at the Franchise 500 list first.
“The Franchise 500 is more than a list. It’s really a collection of life-changing opportunities, featuring strong and resilient brands that future franchisees will be proud to be a part of,” says Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine. “This year’s honorees represent the bold ideas, operational excellence, and adaptability that make franchising a cornerstone of entrepreneurial success.” #Franchise500 @entrepreneur
HOTWORX not only made the Franchise 500 list, it debuted in the top 100 coming in for the first time at number 95 keeping company with some very famous and iconic brands. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of franchise owners and their teams as well as the tireless efforts of the corporate team to build the brand.
“HOTWORX's accelerated growth over the last few years is the reason the company scores in the top 1% of all Franchise 500 companies for size and growth.” (1)
Raising the Bar for 2025!
Now, let’s turn to HOTWORX franchise location performance success…
I am very pleased to announce that this past Thursday afternoon I gave my HOTWORX Jeep away finally, and to a very deserving GM, Megan Lewis. This GM has smashed the goals to win the Jeep and did it during the slow season. Her performance reminds me of one of the phrases on our motivational posters from the early days of the franchise: Believe, Do, Achieve, Repeat! The Oxford, MS location has been #1 in the company and has “repeated” that rank for the past 5 months in a row. During that time Megan’s team broke the studio profit record twice!
The object of the jeep incentive has always been to raise the bar of HOTWORX location performance. The best way to do that is to keep breaking records! I often talk about the story of when the four minute mile run barrier was finally broken. Roger Bannister ran the first sub-four-minute mile on May 6, 1954. Runners had been seriously chasing that goal since the 1800’s. The best track coaches and the most talented runners from North America, Europe and Australia were in pursuit of that seemingly impenetrable mark. It was a psychological barrier more than a physical one. But, when one person finally achieved it, guess what happened? Hundreds of athletes have crossed that rubicon since. For HOTWORX, the record has been smashed once again to set the bar even higher! This time, it was done by GM Megan Lewis and the team at the original location in Oxford, MS.
It has been over three years since the last jeep giveaway to top performers Danny Richani and Craig Cadogan, owners of the Wilmington, NC studio. Our Executive Performance Coach, Anthony Sciscento, was the GM when they broke records to win that first jeep on November 5, 2021.
Breaking profit records in the “perceived” slow season is an amazing thing to do. Remember the FOCUS themed convention? If you believe you can do it, and you focus like a laser with massive action towards a goal, you will achieve it! Then, you repeat, but with a higher level goal! Here’s a fun fact about Megan. She is also a full-time student finishing her degree at Ole Miss. A full-time student and a full-time HOTWORX GM! She is a testament to the fact that you can always do MORE than you think you can!!!
The Oxford studio broke the monthly profit record twice last year, and accomplished that feat in the slower part of year in September and then again in November. Great things happen when you laser focus on your goals! This location is poised to take the monthly profit number to an even higher mark as we enter into the new year. Stay tuned for that.
Profits are a result of customer satisfaction, period! Long term success of any business must be based on getting customers more than what they bargain for. In the case for HOTWORX, the company knows that it must get results for members and keep them in a state of fitness bliss. This is the driving force behind the long term profitability of each location.
As we elevate into 2025, check this out, the HOTWORX franchise convention this year will be held in the Mile High City of Denver where the theme will be ELEVATE. Our keynote speaker in Denver certainly knows how to elevate the performance of a team. You might know him. His name is Tim Tebow!!!
The future for HOTWORX looks bright!! Let’s continue to Make Fitness Franchising History!!!
👊🔥
P.S. The next GM vehicle prize for performance will be a HOTWORX BRONCO…
