New Franchisees Eager to Open Multiple Studios in West Palm Beach

HOTWORX Franchising, LLC welcomes new multi-unit franchisees, Sean and Danielle Hamel, who are very eager to be the first to open studio locations in West Palm Beach, FL! As a past franchise owner of a mobile tool store, Sean Hamel brought a unique perspective to the Discovery Process and can provide insight to other entrepreneurs considering a franchise opportunity. Hamel shares his experience over the last few months with the interview below.

What lead you to explore franchise opportunities once again?
I had previously owned 2 Snap-On tools franchises and wanted a business where the customers come to me instead of me going to them. I like the franchise business model because it provides a support system instead of starting from scratch. With the franchise model, most of the trial and error has been done which is important in success.
Can you describe your first HOTWORX session?
Danielle tried HOTWORX on Discovery Day and loved it. She has tried hot yoga in the past and found it difficult to do because of the stifling effects of just a heated room. The infrared heat allowed her to complete the workout and feel good doing it. She also continued to feel the effects hours after the workout.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The discovery process was great. We were treated in a way where we felt very comfortable and not pressured at all. The process was very informative and all of our questions were answered. Bebe was awesome to work with and I never felt like I was being sold a franchise.
What was your experience like visiting the corporate office and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team for Discovery Day?
We were very glad to come to the corporate offices and meet the executive team. It felt like more of a family environment than a corporate one, which is one of the reasons we liked this franchise. When I had the Snap-On franchises, the corporate support staff was always concerned more about their numbers than my success. The HOTWORX corporate staff wants us to succeed even though they are not all directly affected by our success. Everyone seems to be driven more by the pride of the success of the franchise rather than money. This was a very important factor in us choosing this franchise.
What were the top 3 reasons you and Danielle chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
HOTWORX is a new concept, which we both love. It is not an oversaturated market like most successful franchises. The team is more like a family environment than a corporate one.

What goals do you have in bringing HOTWORX to the West Palm Beach area?

Our goals are to open at least 5 studios as fast as possible but we don't plan on stopping there. The West Palm Beach area is a look good, feel good environment and we want to help people achieve that with HOTWORX. I feel that if we immerse ourselves in that culture then we will also benefit from HOTWORX as well.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?

I believe HOTWORX is going to more successful than anyone anticipates. I believe it fills an empty space in the fitness market and will be around and successful for a very long time. I would say don't hesitate at this opportunity- as long as you are not in South Florida, as I want this whole area for myself!

What are you and Danielle most excited for in your first year as HOTWORX franchisees?

We are most excited about the first year since it will give us a good gauge on how fast we will be able to grow this business. We are also excited to be able to work in a very positive environment. We both love the look of HOTWORX and it is important to work at a place you love showing up every day. I personally can't wait to start dealing with people again. These last few months not working and having little human interaction has been difficult.
